GS Club number does not work.

So as new campers I thought why not join GS Club so I signed up online got the first email saying its processing and new cards would be mailed out and I would receive a temp card via email until the official ones arrived. No email ever came so after a week I called last night and the nice lady on the phone said oh i see, you singed up on the 18th and it was done on the 19th and she gave me my number and then sent and email stating what the number was and something I could print out. Went to use the number for the flying J discount card and it says my number is not a valid SC member number? Wondering if I made a mistake getting the roadside assistance and membership combo package for 5 years.

  • It amazes me that they spend all that marketing effort to suck you into joining and then nothing.... Not an email. No problem sending junk mail though. That's already started.

    All they have to do is enter you in the system and email you a working membership number or even email a temp card you could print out. Instead they wind up ticking off just about every new member they sign up out of the gate.

    I'm still waiting after 10 days for my first email with my GS club number. Not a big deal as I signed up for the discounts but it already cost my local CW sales since it's Spring and I'm busy getting the new RV ready for the season. If they do this poorly with just the membership numbers who would want to sign up for the road service?

    I signed up for Coach-Net road service after reading reviews and had my member number immediately and real cards a few days later.

    It's nice that if you post here they will ask you to contact them so they can get to the bottom of the issue but it should not be necessary. What about those that don't know about this forum. They just get left hanging.
