I have read so many negatives about GS roadside service. To me customer service must be high. I had actually called GS tonight for some info and rates. I'll have to call Coach Net tomorrow as I have yet to hear a negative concerning their coverage or service.
Here is one, I dropped CN when I had a flat. They never showed, ended up calling on my own. The kicker, they would not reimburse me for calling someone else because their tow provider said he showed up and I refused service. You can't refuse if they do not show up. Problem with CN is there is no place to complain, they do not have a forum, and if you post anything negative on their Facebook page they will delete the post. I have used GS twice since then, they showed up within an hour, and I was on my way less than an hour after that.
I have to ask, if a place is so dangerous for you when you get a flat to have someone change it, why would you expect anyone to change it and risk their life? I will gladly drive on a rim taking a chance I will have to replace it to be in a a safe place not just for me and the family, but for the poor sole who has to change it. For some reason folks think putting them in danger when they are in danger is the smart thing to do, it is not. If you are in a dangerous place and cannot move, call 911, get someone out there to help you get to a safe place.
EDIT: Coach Net is also not allowed to sign up new members in California. CN will not comment on it, other to say they are no longer signing up new members, just renewing the existing ones.
