Last year while checking tires before leaving an RV Park, a valve stem broke off. Found out it had a crack.
Geico ERS wanted to tow me. I told them it could be repaired onsite. They arranged for a a tire service to come out, but I had to pay the bill upfront. I also had the tire service remove another outside dual so I could install a tpms sensor.
They charged $219+ for a new tire stem, install and labor. I submitted the claim to Geico, and received full reimbursement for everything including taxes.
Geico ERS covers the service call and one hour labor. If I would have allowed them to tow me to a facility for the repair, I could sign and drive. Go figure!
It depends on the ERS contract.
