I would think that is combining offers. You usually can't do that. Either pay for 6 and get 7th free at regular prices or 10% off on 7 nights.
Ditto....normally parks will not allow you to take advantage of more than one discount. You would need to choose the better deal for you. - rockhillmanorExplorer IIAnd on the flip side I have stayed at 2 CG's that took the 10% off 'all' the days I stayed up to a month. Then the monthly rate kicked in. I have found it is up to the individual CG.
- Executive45Explorer IIIIt's called "Double Dipping" ... You get one or the other, not both. Lots of campgrounds offer the same with the same wording....Dennis
- RollnhomeExplorerI agree that the response does tend to mislead. I can't say it is intentionally or that they are lazy. They are the front line greeters and messengers. I think for the most part the team is good people doing a job, trying to feed their families, and are doing as instructed by management. I think management likes to micromanage.

Absolutely correct on both counts. Good Sam discounts apply to the standard daily rate. Parks are not required to stack discounts upon discounts.
They advertise 10% off the "nightly" park rates. The weekly, monthly, annual rates would not apply to the GS discount. That is unless you want to stay a week at the nightly rate with 10% off. I think the park discounted long term rates are a better deal. I see no foul here.
I am surprised the Rapid Response Team didn't point that out to you rather than form an investigation into the matter. I still think part of the RR Team are computer robot replies.
And it really does appear that the Rapid response people don't read or think about what they are posting. Here they are misleading people into believing that a park that offers a special rate for long-term stays should be offering the Good Sam discount on top of that special rate, which is incorrect. Just simply replying "contact us and we will look into it" regardless of what someone posts is just lazy. Maybe I will start a thread about how a Good Sam park wouldn't allow me to barbeque my neighbor's dog and see if I get the same "we will look into it" response. - SDcampowneroperExplorerGood Sam 10% discount applies to daily rates, up until the time the camp offers a more deeply discounted rate such as weekly or monthly.
In our contract with the Club, this policy must be honored at all times, on posted daily rates. No exceptions, such as special events.
As with any discount offering, doubling down is not permitted.
Should you be denied Club discount by a member park on a daily rental where you showed a valid Club membership in your name, GS will make it right for you and take action to ensure the park complies.

Right, normally if I get a weekly or monthly rate even at a GS campground, there is no discount on top of that. Doesn't hurt to ask, though! - RollnhomeExplorerThey advertise 10% off the "nightly" park rates. The weekly, monthly, annual rates would not apply to the GS discount. I always get about $62.00 off, but the balance should be 10% off of that. If it is done how they do it now, it is cheaper than getting 10% off of 7 nights. It hasn't been a big deal for me.
