Your profile says you have been "on the Road" and a member for 10+ years. You haven't stayed in three RV parks during that time? The rule is in place to prevent lazy people from either posting a spectacular review for a park they have a financial interest in or a ranting, negative review of some parked that Peed them off. The purpose of RVparkreviews.com is to provide a resource for people looking for places to stay, not to be a sounding board to bash a park for some perceived transgression.
Be prepared for your comments to NOT be posted until you report on another 2 CG's. THE most ridiculous requirement RVparkreviews has.
AND why the bad comments are never seen. Leaving the rest of us to fall into the same nasty CG.
I am not a reporter for that site I don't write a review for each and every CG I stay at. IMHO the BAD reviews that prompt campers to fore warn others and leave them wanting to post it for others should be allowed without having to write several more reviews for it to get posted.
My most horrific CG I stayed at review.....is still siting in their hold file until I write 2 more reviews. - Dave_From_AKExplorer

"It was very un-level. The sites are narrow and our neighbor's sewer drain was 6 feet away from our trailer."
"The resort has a distinctive smell of open sewer by the homes near the pool and showers. ATVs, dirt bikes and golf carts roam at all speeds throughout the resort during all hours making it unsafe to walk."
"Very low end, unclassy area. Police going thru camp at night chasing someone. NOT A FAMILY SAFE PLACE !!"
Since you admit that you don't contribute to the site I guess it's not surprising that you don't read what's there. - fla-gypsyExplorerI will not post to RV Park reviews either. Too easy for them to manipulate the reviews and posters are much too arbitrary in what they consider good/bad often without supporting information.
- wbwoodExplorerPictures of what was bad would be nice as well.
- TinyoneRVExplorerWhy not report the bad park to GS so they can inspect it again? I've found the rating system to be pretty reliable. I'm pretty certain GS wants them to be as accurate as possible.
Also, if you tell us what park, there may be others on here who can support your opinion or who have a different experience with the same park. I, for one, would appreciate knowing the park since we rely heavily on the GS ratings. - rr2254545Explorer

That is what I am trying to do, this is why I posted in the Good Sam Club topic area - beemerphile1ExplorerUnfortunately Good Sam doesn't solicit user ratings. The parks are rated by Good Sam authorized volunteers/employees.
It has been indicated here on the forums previously that they do not include user comments. Your best bet is to give your review here and on RVparkreviews.
It would be wonderful if Good Sam allowed user ratings but that apparently doesn't serve Good Sam (corporate) interests. - wbwoodExplorerI think they said at one time they were thinking about integrating user comments , but maybe they changed their mind.

Hello RVers,
Good Sam strives to be the best in our industry and we appreciate the feedback we receive. If you feel a particular park’s rating doesn’t reflect what our guidelines described, please let us know. Email parks@goodsamfamily.com with the park name, location, and area of concern and we will pass that information on to our Good Sam Consultant Team for further investigation.
We rate each privately owned park in the directory using the following categories:
1. Campground & RV Parks - Completeness of facilities: The first campground rating evaluates completeness and quality of facilities. In this category we rate interior roads, sites, registration area, hookups, recreation, swimming, security, laundry, store and building maintenance.
2. Restrooms & Showers - Cleanliness and physical characteristics of restrooms and showers: The second rating category concerns the cleanliness and physical characteristics of toilets, walls, showers, sinks/counters/mirrors and floor. If a park achieves a full point in each of the above, it receives a star (*), indicating exceptionally clean restrooms.
Also rated are physical characteristics of restrooms, including interior construction, adequate supplies/odor free, adequate number of facilities, exterior appearance and location in relation to park spaces, and interior appearance.
3. Visual Appearance/Enviromental Quality - Visual Appeal and Environmental Quality: This category addresses the park's setting and site layout, function and identification of signage, overall exterior building maintenance, noise, trash disposal, litter and debris around the grounds and sites, and appearance of grounds, sites and entrance area.
Also, as other readers have suggested, you can share your comments about a particular park on this forum.
Thank you,
MaryEllen

You obviously have never looked at the reviews on that site if you believe that "the bad comments are never seen." I just looked at their home page and scanned the list of "Most Recent Reviews" there. Among those with low scores I find statements like:.....
And apparently YOU did not read my post. :R
I did NOT say that all bad comments are not listed. I have read and used the site for CG info. I don't think a camper has to be required to be a multiple reporter of CG's to post ONE review good or bad. THAT is what I said.Since you admit that you don't contribute to the site I guess it's not surprising that you don't read what's there.
I'm so glad that you know what I do or don't do. :R
