How long should it take to get our membership card? 2nd try

I posted earlier that it was taking a long time to get a card. That thread was just closed. We paid for the card in early April and hadn't gotten one as of a couple of weeks ago. One of the Good Sam clubs flks asked me for details. I gave details to them. They said they sent the card. After a couple of weeks I sent a pm back to them saying I didn't get it. They asked me to check the address as the second one was off by 1 relative to the first address. The first address (21) that they said they sent the card to was accurate and the 2nd address (20) was corrected. They then closed the thread due to inactivity.

I continue to get daily emails trying to sell me stuff and they were quite proficient at responding to and closing threads, but I still don't have a card????

  • I'm the OP. I received my membership card yesterday. Thank you to the care team. I would ask Good Sam to find out why cards aren't sent out right away and fix it, instead of addressing each failure one by one.

  • Coach Net seems a more responsive business even when it come to emergency road service. I switched from GS sometime ago and have never looked back.
  • These 'cards' should be an image on your phone. GS needs to get with the program, along with campgrounds.
  • You are seeing why many of us have dropped GS from our lives in regards to addresses and the like. They send out a ton of email and snail mail solicitations every year. I was lucky enough to be sent a card just before I changed physical address. And since I moved without leaving an official address change notice I got off Scott free! No junk mail! The emails are automatically sent to the spam folder.

    In your case, you probably got an email with your member number? And expiration date? That's all you need at most places. So just write it down on a slip of paper and carry it in your wallet. I've found that the number and date are accepted in virtually every location giving the GS discount.
