Has ANYONE EVER actually gotten the advertised discount AT THE PUMP from any Pilot station anywhere ?? How many people actually LOOK at the receipt to see what price they are paying ??If this doesn't get fixed soon I will be AVOIDING Pilot stations instead of seeking them out. With a tool like Gas Buddy you can see that their price often isn't the lowest anyway, even WITH the discount.

I get the discount every time I buy gas. Frequent monthly trips between DC and Florida. All I do is:Insert/remove credit cardFollow prompts to insert Discount card. Either Pilot or Good Sam card.Amount shown on pump changes to show lower price.And you're right they aren't always the cheapest price, but they have always been the same price per gal as other stations at the same exit and with the discount cheaper.Maybe there is something wrong with your card?

I just completed a 1500 mile trip and used RV and truck lanes with my Flying J credit card, got discount everywhere I got gas fine.

Yep, we always get the discount using the P/FJ credit card at the car pumps and the truck lanes. I presume that is what you're using and not your GoodSam card? In the truck lanes. we've sometimes had to go inside because the receipt doesn't print. But the discount has always been listed.

Use the Pilot/FJ credit card also. No problem here.

It is my Good Sam Club card.
I think that is what my original post said. (Wrong it didn't)

(Edit: I went back and "fixed" my original post.
So let's revise the question to read: Has anyone ever gotten the discount at the pump....USING THEIR GS MEMBERSHIP CARD ??)

Well that seems to be a rather well kept secret.

EVERYTHING I have seen regarding this discount clearly indicates.....or strongly impies.....that this applies at ALL PILOT STORES.

NOW you come along and tell me there is a LIST.

That's always possible.....but not likely I think because it always says: "See your receipt for the discount".

Maybe it IS just a problem at some Pilot stores and I've just been unlucky.

Quite a few of the ones in Illinois are independent dealerships that don't participate in the RVPlusCard program.

It would seem to me that if someone is having an issue with the P/FJ discount card they should call P/FJ customer service at their toll free number (listed on the card), but I guess it's just too easy to complain on this forum. BTW, I have been using the card for several years with NO issues.

It would help if people were specific about which card they are using.

The old Flying J Real Value card,
the Good Sam Swipe and Save,
or the Good Sam Flying J charge card.

What confuses some people is that the card has to be put in after the credit card
not before like most loyalty cards

We have the Pilot RV card and have zero issues. Saved 5 cents a gallon on gas over the weekend. Diesel I believe in 7 or 9 cents off.
