Platinum plus membership

They don't cover vandalism. We were a member for 25 yrs and refused a tow after four tires were cut. Sorry we don't cover that was there responce.that was after paying $219.00 for the platinum plus member

  • Update.goodsam did reply A very nice gentleman called and said he has been with Goodsam FOR 20 yrs and they never covered vandalism. He also states they should have offered service at my expence.I Questioned if you are riding down the hiway and a kid throwers a rock threw your windshield would that be vandalismand you would be denied a tow.would be a case by case basis but still vandalism. Well I am finely satisfied that if took posting to a forum to get a reply from GS.I cancelled my membership and will move on .Thank you.

  • Sounds to me like that is a pretty urgent and legit need for towing help with your RV. I would expect the call to GS would at least result in help with a tow. My "travel assist" covers “Emergency Travel
    Arrangements” which they mainly define as associated with reservations. But it seems to me that help with a tow is certainly an emergency travel arrangement. You may have to pay for the tow, but I would expect help with a response to your situation. Thanks. I have the same policy. I will check mine and maybe start shopping for other insurance.
    I also find it interesting that the response from the “Good Sam Care Team” is handled with a private message (“I would like to assist. Please send a private message… Stacy “) and not an explanation to the whole community of their lack of concern with your situation.
  • All we wanted was a tow to get the tires replaced.road side service is towing.why would it make a difference if you ran over a bucket of nails or some A Hole cut the tire?
  • I’m not sure why roadside service would cover vandalism. Perhaps your RV Insurance does.
