Poor attitude at top rated Good Sam Park, Phoenix,AZ

My rescue dog, a shih tzu, would not be able to read any "do no pee here" signs. Further, I would never attempt to discipline her for peeing as she would not understand it. She has been trained to go to the bathroom outside the house and does not go inside the house. As to poop, that is what poop bags are for.

Maybe there should be a urination/defecation patrol consisting of all anti-animal persons at the park who can diaper all animals, wild or otherwise, who cross the property....... No wonder politics have reached all new lows.

It's really a shame that people stereotype ALL people hat have their pets with them when camping. Not all dog owners let their pet mess everywhere. There are many of us that are respectful of other campers and do take our pets to the appropriate facilities and clean up after them. My dog is ALWAYS on a leash and is not a barker unless someone try's to enter the 5er without Myself or DW there. I can assure you that my dog is MUCH more behaved than most of the kids that are running around the campground. MY dog isn't running around like a fool and screaming like a banshee, throwing its trash just anywhere it likes, riding its bike through my campsite, running out in front of cars and walking down the middle of the road not letting the traffic through. You see, this complaint can be said of just about anything. Don't get the wrong idea, I love kids and enjoy hearing them laugh and play as they should, I raised 2 wonderful kids and have 2 beautiful granddaughters. My point is DON'T hold the majority of pet owners at fault for what I feel is a minority's actions. My wife and I will continue to bring our beloved JoJo along with us every time we go camping. If we happen to be in the same camp ground as you and you don't like camping around dogs you are more than welcome to go inside your camper until we pass by your site while taking a walk. Tim

That would get me P#ssed off.:M I Agree that the best thing to do is walk your pooch down the middle of the road until you get them to the proper K9 waste discharge area. That is what the leash is for. That way no one gets their rocks off.

I use a mobility scooter - I cover it when I am not using it. Can't tell how many times I go and take off the cover and find some dog has been using it as a pee station. When we go somewhere and take the scooter, the cover gets folded up and goes in the car - what a smell sometimes if I don't get it all off.
I am not parking the scooter away from the motorhome but next to the back wheel! Often have watched dog walkers let there dogs do this - Makes me mad.

Anyone besides me getting tired of this exact same reponse no matter how ridiculous the complaint is. What is Good Sam going to do? Tell the park they need to change their policies to allow dogs to pee anywhere they want? Or maybe they will force the lady with the rocks to move out. The Rapid Response Team is a great concept, now they need to train and empower the team to actually respond rather than just cut and paste the same thing over and over.
