In order to answer your question of renewal or not?? AAA vs Good Sam, You need to do a side by side comparison of services each ERS plan offers. I suspect you will find that AAA has some limitations in comparison i.e. is service uniform from state to state, county to county?, length of miles you can be towed before you have to start paying mile by mile? etc etc.
As others have said, "murphy's law" could be a painful experience!!! Murphy's Law also says "all vehicles & RV's will break down, it is just matter of when".:)
