:) Hi, I bought the Roadside assistance before my Alaska trip for a few reasons. Longest trip in time and mileage, more isolated areas on way, ten year old tow vehicle, Special price for first timers, plus another discount for a three year package. I still have AAA and my new truck / tow vehicle has road side assistance from Ford. Should I renew at $112.00 per year? I say no. Would I renew for another three year package at about $75.00 per year? Maybe! I have not used any of these services in over ten years or maybe even longer. What do you think?
Murhy's Law is an equal opportunity action that will kiss you at some point in your RV travels:):) The odds are not in RVer's favor. One tow can cost more than 3 times your annual fee for Emerg. road side service:):)
:) Hi, I haven't been towed in decades, but one never knows when it will happen. Been towing for ten years, for many thousands of miles, in 14 western States and 3 western Provinces. I can easily afford to pay more than three times the GS fee. I can't afford to sit on the side of the road for many hours waiting to see if someone will show up or not.
Oh, and I used to work for Mr. Murphy. :B
