Whether it's unreasonable to expect them to know or not, my experience has been that if I know what I need, I can make sure I get that on the first run - rather than waiting for multiple trucks to come and go because someone didn't share the actual length, width, height, or weight with the tow company and they guessed as to what was actually needed.
