Hi Marcus, Can you advise if the Standby Sam program is still operational? I have been a member of Standby Sam for a number of years, but noticed that it is no longer listed on your new website ...

Couple links in the Google Search directed me to the Road Side Assistance pages. So, this got me to thinking (It's all about money you know???) ... Standby Sams are a volunteer service folks sign up for, volunteer to help folks needing help when traveling through, or even locally. Of course, that means no service center is getting a call. It also means road side service companies are not getting that customer. .... um .... turn that though over in your head, and maybe that's why someone at the corporate level left the Standby's out. ??? Can't find them on the internet site, they can't be used. Breakdown in process.... call a service company. (I'm just sayin' ???)
You are exactly right! There is nothing in it for Good Sam/Camping World money wise, so why would they continue to sponsor it. When will people understand that they are all about the money not about a RV club. It is nothing like it was when Art Rouse had it. It is just a matter of time, I predict, that this forum is shut down.
