We've been through plenty of mountains with 7% or 8% grades while pulling our Wrangler with no problems. Don't be afraid of the Ford V10. Awesome motor!

You may want to check Berkshire, those are diesel and made by same manufacturer as Georgetown.

Correct we have a 2012 378XL on the F53 V 10 and I average approx. 8mpg and towing our 2012 Chevy Cruze approx. 7.5 mpg. Very happy with the performance and coach in general. Love the floor plan and have had only a couple issues which were taken care of. Having a great dealer is the key to a great experience with the RV.
