2009 Cummins ISB egr/dpf problems/experience/repairs

I am looking at a 2009 motorhome with a Cummins ISB. I have a little experience with diesel engines and have only used, worked on and owned pre egr and pre dpf engines. I have friends with pickups with Cummins and they did all kinds of things to fix or eliminate emission control problems.
I am looking for advise on whether the 2009 diesel engines were problematic on motorhomes? Has anyone repaired the egr system so it works properly. Does the DPF cause you problems?
This would be a nicer coach than our gasser now, but I don't need to add diesel engine emissions maintenance to the list of things to do!

    We always got around 8.5-9.0 depending on the wind. We also towed 2800#.

    9.2 mpg overall at 62 mph average in 65000 miles. Btw this is a pre 2010 emissions engine, therefore no DEF (diesel exhaust fluid)

    In 37,000 miles our 08 HR with the 340 Cummins ran 2 regen cycles. They were both in East Coast weekend beach traffic. The systems are pretty much maintenance free and most RV owners will not bump up against the recommended high mileage maintenance schedule. There is a crankcase vent filter that is relatively inexpensive that is supposed to be replaced in the 30,000 mile range. Over 20 MPH for 20 minutes equals a regen cycle. The system was designed to clean up city delivery vehicles and has little or no affect on highway driven vehicles.

    I have had zero problems with my ISB in over 65000 miles. I have a 2010 Discovery, and have only changed filters and oil changes. It has done many automatic regens on the DPF, and I had to change the crankcase breather filter one time at about 50000 miles.very easy job and the filter costs about $75.00. Don't idle the engine and it will run with no issues. Idling tends to gunk up the filters. When it goes into regen mode, I run the engine as hard as I can, and it will automatically clean the DPF quickly. The tailpipe runs so clean, that you can still see the chrome on the inside. There is zero black soot.
