A new home for the big beast (and us)

Well Gang,
After 60 years of So CAL living and, while enjoying the benefits of this "great climate", and also putting up with some of the P.I.T.A. parts of living here, we're moving. We're heading over to Lake Havasu City. And, we managed to pick up a brand new home, WITH AN RV GARAGE ATTACHED!!!! Yahoooooooo. That garage is 15.5' wide and, 53' long. It's totally insulated. And, we've even got parking for visitors in RVs or, maybe in the near future, a boat.

It's going to be nice to have the large rolling gymnasium on wheels, INSIDE a garage from now on. I do like protecting it, that's for sure. Yep, it does get a tad warm over there but, being retired, no one says we'll have to stay for the ultra-hot part of the season. But, the rest of the time, it's very nice place. It's known as the "Hot rod" mecca of the whole U.S. When cruising the streets over there lately, while looking for a home, it seemed like every other minute or so, a '56 Chevy or a '49 Ford, or a '69 Chevy truck, or any other hot rod would cruise by. They're everywhere over there.

Anyway, I'd have put this post in the one thread for RV garages but, I couldn't find it. It seems that a very large percentage of the new homes being built there, already have RV garages attached. In the one picture, I was playing around with Photoshop, adding what's called "Stacked stone" to the front, lower portions of the house, just to see what it would look like.
