Air Brake - Auto Parking Brake for Wheelchair Lift

I am in the process of installing a wheelchair lift on my Class A for my disabled wife. One of the criteria is, when the lift is deployed, the parking brake must remain engaged and the transmission must remain in Neutral. I will have the Allison rep reprogram the tranny. For the parking brake, I am thinking about adding a solenoid/electric dump valve to the parking brake air line to insure it stays unpressurized while the lift is in use. Is anyone familiar with an air circuit such as this? Is there an air brake valve made for this purpose? Any help will be appreciated.

    Why make it complicated? Set the parking brake and put the transmission in neutral

    If you have air brakes dump the air & put it in neutral.

    How about fabricating a bracket for a switch to mount on the lift that is hooked to the ignition and powers a bright red light on the dashboard when the lift is down and ignition is turned on? Our Winnebago has a bright red light that illuminates if the leveling jacks are down and you turn the ignition key to on. Just be sure you mount the light in your line of vision when you are in the driver's seat. Are you worried the parking brake will release when the coach is unattended?

    Extend the release line, run it thru a hose that must be disconnected to lower the lift.
    Years back a local company had trouble with trailers pulling out of dock with men inside. They ran the line about waist high across the door.

    Depending on what chassis or options you have the mechanism may already exist. When I had my DP there was a lockout for the slide and auto-leveling system. I remember having to bypass it once when it went bad. Maybe you can use that existing feature.
