Allied insurance opinions.

We have received a quote from Allied insurance that is quite a bit lower than National Interstates renewal. Same coverage.

Has anybody had dealings with Allied ?

National Interstate has always been fair and efficient with us.

Thanks, Kerry

  • I have Allied on the house and two cars. I am extremely happy with Allied - they take care of claims quickly. I have Progressive on the motorhome and have been pleased with them. When Allied first offered insurance for RVs they were quite a bit higher than Progressive. I need to check with Allied again.
  • I have Allied insurance and have had great experiences with them. Had a claim couple years ago after hitting a mule deer and they took very good care of us & the coach.
  • I, too, was happy with National Interstate until they wanted to charge me a "policy fee" of $25 in addition to a fee of $25 to retain the diminishing deductibles. Fifty bucks in fees was just a bit over the top. Then came the rate increase supposedly connected to the company's inability to determine our insurance credit score. UM/UIM coverage jumped by 140%, liability by over 30%, and comprehensive by over 20%. All totaled we saw a $150 per year increase in our premium. We have had no claims whatsoever, good driving records, and have never been late with a payment. What is the cost of customer satisfaction and loyalty? We will switch to Allied or another carrier ASAP.
  • It's not RV or vehicle related but, a few years ago we switched to Allied Insurance for our apartment building. It saved us a lot of money. I was a little skeptical because I had never heard of them. After a little research I realized I had nothing to worry about.
I think you will be happy with Allied for your RV insurance. JMO
  • Greetings. Allied or Nationwide (as I call it) is a fine RV policy. My agency is very happy with it's coverage, service and pricing. You'll be happy. Safe travels. Tommy
