What about if I wanna install a tv in my van or run a laptop or tablet. Eventually Im going to want a Laptop and cell phone plugged in for sure, maybe a tv. Is it better to get one of those adapter things that changes the 12 volt to 110? Will the auxillary battery be able to handle that? Or do I have to buy and install an actual inverter? Ive seen people hook inverters to 2 marine batterys, but my coachmen has the auxilary battery on the outside of the rv in the rear compartment door on the rear passenger side of the coach.

1. Why doesnt the the main power outlet work when I plug in my phone?
2. Can you only use 12 volt to charge your phone if my van is not hooked up to shore power or generator running?

Chicago here, but just wanted to say "shlama" to my cousin in Arkansas. Nice van, "howa breekhta". Have seen the pics from the other threads, have you taken care of most of the issues you had? Don't know much about mechanics but when it comes to computers or 12 volt just ask. I've got a pleasure way class b. Will post some pics maybe in a new thread when I get a chance.
