Are there 2 different Monaco's?
I'm confused, are there two different Monaco's? One that has/had the MaxxForce diesel and is still in business? And another Monaco that was built on a bus chassis and is no longer in business? ...

Actually, using your analogy, there are 3 different Monaco's. The original, including the Roadmaster chassis division, which went bankrupt in 2009, then the shell of Monaco was bought out by Navistar, the truck manufacturer in 2010. they built Monaco coaches until last year, when they sold the Monaco division to Fleetwood(ASV) who scrapped the best chassis made(Roadmaster) and are now building Monaco & Holiday Rambler on the Freightliner chassis. IMO, if you can find a pre 2009 Monaco or HR, you will get a much better coach than is available today.
