Are there 2 different Monaco's?
I'm confused, are there two different Monaco's? One that has/had the MaxxForce diesel and is still in business? And another Monaco that was built on a bus chassis and is no longer in business? ...

HOM, when Navistar owned Monaco, they put in the MaxxForce engine. When Allied bought Monaco from Navistar, they are redesigning the Monaco line and will install Cummins engines in the units.
So, there is only one Monaco manufacturer and that is Allied Recreational Group (ARG) a division of Allied Specialty Vehicles (ASV) that also builds Fleetwood motorhomes.
The original Monaco used the Prevost chassis's to make the 'Royale' and, as you know, the original Monaco went bankrupt. Country Coach converted the Prevost chassis too (no longer producing).
