Hard to tell from the photo, but I wondered this too. I think the upper branches of the tree are on the other side of the trailer and may be helping to hold it up. Also sometimes when these trees fall like this because of the wet ground, they actually go over slowly. It's not like when you cut them off at the base with a chain saw and they free fall to the ground.
