Wow... that is a big difference in state taxes. Those greedy service station owners are making too much.. we need more regulation (just kidding).
Selling gas for the relative same price, with that much difference in taxes, I can see how they can pay for full service and still make a buck or two.
Didn't realize they work for tips. So, I assume they are paid a reduced min wage like some food service workers? Wonder how many people, in particular out of staters, know that. I would have never guessed.
