Here we go.... - paulsangExplorerWow! 5 pages over a horn!
I honk in tunnels.
I honk when I leave my parents home.
I honk when I leave parks. Not gonna stop.
Sorry. - wildmanbakerExplorerI guess I like most of the things people complain about except the little 4-bangers with no muffler. Our electric horn is almost as loud as our air horns. I remember scaring the heck out of about half the people at a family reunion, when we left early, and gave a short blurb on the electric horn.
- et2ExplorerEveryone calls them air horns. Are they air or electric? I know some are air. While on my new diesel pusher they're under the front cowling. They sound like air but I never looked at them for long. They didn't look that big.
- DogPatchExplorerI remember being in Kino Bay Mx. one year as an older Class A was just leaving --- around 11 AM. As it pulled out of the campground, the strains of "Back on the road again" wafted from a speaker somewhere hidden in the MH.
I was not offended, merely amused!!!

New pic Dennis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pretty shinny.
Vic - wildwest450ExplorerMaybe he had a stroke and face planted into the steering wheel. Is that acceptable?
- J-RoosterExplorerIf you didn't see the vehicle it could have been a UPS vehicle there required to sound there horns just about every time they get in and out of there vehicles or around people. My guess would be more in line with rvten post!
- Mr_Mark1ExplorerI don't mind a minor small toot but long drawn out ones would be obnoxious. I, like Executive, toot the horn every time going through tunnels. My Dad did it so it must be the right thing to do!
In fact, I just arrived in Asheville, NC (by car) and went through two tunnels... and yes, I beeped through each one! :)
