Calling all Country Coach experts price check

This is the best negotiation I could do being some 1500 miles apart and not seeing unit in person. I can get this 2001 CC Intrigue double slide with a 370 hp Cummins for just over 50k. Looks to be in mint shape one owner new tires. Only thing wrong is two bedroom windows have a bad creeping seal and on the outside were the hater heater goes through the side wall on the corner there is a 1/4 inch long by 1/16 wide crack. This crack is on the side wall. Sound like a fair price if everything checks out?

DO you have pictures we could see. If you could pay someone to go check out the coach, that way you can be sure it is real. Is 1500 miles a typo, Most coaches have to be driven when delivered.

He is 1500 miles AWAY from the coach he might buy...NOT 1500 miles ON the coach.....
  • $50K is an excellent price. I have an '02 and no way would I sell it that cheap. The windows are a common problem with the Se-Gi windows. A small crack in the sidewall that big is nothing to be worried about. The ISL motor was a $7K option in that year FYI.
  • That unit sounds like a crazy deal...maybe some alarm bells should be ringing in your head? As said..have an independent garage give it a good going over.

Here's one Price reduced from $205000 to $199000 and the seller is willing to accept a reasonable offer 2001 Country Coach 40' Intrigue Double Slide Out with 84,600 miles.

    Many more-HERE...

    Good luck on your search!

  • Well I don't see a price so here is one that is a step above to look at. All of his coaches are in great shape plus lots of pictures.

The book says low retail at $56,700. If you can get it for 50 flat...get them to fix the cracked fiberglass before you pick it up
  • Mike,

Make the offer: "Subject to satisfactory inspection with closing date on or before XXXX"

That way you can do the inspection/have others do it. Satisfaction is up to YOU-- if your wife doesn't like the interior fabric, it fails inspection. The date (shorter time frame the better from a negotiating standpoint) lets the seller know he will not have to keep the coach off the market for any real length of time.

Very common terms for RV's, boats, etc. Been on the buyer and seller end of these long-distance transactions. Longest distance-- selling Pacific Seacraft Crealock 37' in St Petersburg FL to buyer from Anacordes, WA.
