down home: Good idea but it is not going to happen. CoachNet was almost what you described but something happened. I think they amalgamated with another company. Even GS could not do this on their own and they use Allstate. That is scary. If you have a Class C or smaller any of the providers would be OK. But if you need a Class 8 tow truck with a proper wheel lift or a drop deck there are only a few that can help. CoachNet can do this. GS used to have that capability but I wonder if they can do this now? To those who talk of having spares and tools. Not everyone has the space for a large 200 lb. wheel and tire. Or even just the tire. Many posters do not have the mechanical ability nor the strength to handle the tire/rim. One should also be aware that the most dangerous place on any highway is the side of the road. Do you really want to change a tire on the Drivers side while your butt is sticking out on the road? Good way to die. EMS have pylons, flashing led lights and they are aware of the danger. You also need at least 2 jacks. Not for me!
