If you go to the Coachnet website you will see that Coachnet is not available in MD anymore. I called Coachnet. They said it happened 5 months ago because of unspecified MD regulations. At this point my service is still good until expiration, but I will not be able to renew. Any other Class A owners in MD with Coachnet? With warm regards, James

Interesting, we still have our MH registered in MD and have coachnet and never received any notice from them otherwise. I guess I will need to make a call to be sure but one would think they would notify their MD customers if that were the case.

I love coach-net. So I guess my options are to register here in NC (easier to keep it registered in MD for a lot of personal reasons) or find a new RSA. This is a total bummer.

Does that mean a Maryland resident just can't buy a Coach-Net policy?Or does it also mean anyone traveling through Maryland cannot use their Coach-Net if they need assistance while in Maryland?

MD is an expensive and difficult state to do business in. It's one of the main reasons we left.

So are GS and AAA in compliance with the new MD codes? I would suspect that Coach-net has to be doing some analysis on the contracts lost to competitors vs the changes they would need to make to be compliant.

BTW - does anyone have any clue as to what the new regulations are that are causing the issue?

Coach-Net's MD contractor list would still be available for non-MD members the need their services. They just can't sign new or renew subscribers there. At least not until they come into compliance with MD's new regulations like they've done in a few other states with unique requirements.

I'm a Maryland resident my policy expires in may just called coachnet they cant renue it called good sams got the same policy for 40 dollars less

You can still use it. Evidently Maryland has som stiffer requirements than the new Coachnet wants to comply with. Certainly not more permissive or they would still be there.
Anyone from Maryland know what the story is.
