It's taken me 15 years but I finally did it. Heard others say they done it but I thought I was too smart to do it. I pulled away from my house without unplugging my 30amp.cable.:S

- Almost did it with my 50 amp leaving a campsite a couple of weeks ago. Had issues with dead battery in towed and that threw off my whole thought sequence. Started to pull away from the site but looked in my sideview at the last second. Guess it's a good last check to make.
- New owner, I walk around my rig 10 times before I pull out...a bit OCD about it. Wife usually yells at me 4th or 5th trip around

Glad no real damage.- Took me 17 years to do that. Ripped the plug right off the end of the cord. Exactly what happens when in a hurry. Doubt I'll do it again unless I develop alzheimers.
- Check list, check list, check list. As a pilot I live by one. One tiny distraction or the old age factor creeps up.
- I did it once with our Southwind, leaving home.
And it was right after I did a walk around. :S - Put these on the important things and know how many you should have in your hand before you start up. Easy to forget when you are distracted.
- I always have the wife outside when I pull away. Not my idea, but hers.
-Tom, W3TLN - No damage doesn't let you in the club. I broke mine off at the transfer switch. 15 years ago it cost over 300 bucks for the fix. I have so many reminders on the steering wheel it looks like a clever bulletin board.
