Convection oven for an RV

I have purchased a LTV CB, but it comes with a convection microwave - about 1.2 cu ft. Very small. Does anyone use a convection oven countertop model for baking, roasting etc? Which one holds up best?
  • We really like our Breville BOV800XL. If you concern about the size, they have smaller models.
  • I replaced a dead microwave with a microwave/convection oven, a Frigidaire FFCT1278LS

Here are pics of the install I did, along with some more details of the unit:

  • We have the Breville as well, the large one. It has a 14 x 14 tray. I can’t say enough good things about this oven.

Very accurate, heats up quickly, cooks very evenly. Better than either of our ranges.

Cook full size casseroles, pies, roasts.

Not cheap but worth it. And the best toaster ever.

In a dream world my RV world not have the gas oven and have this built in.
  • We recently purchased a Breville Smart Oven Air (Model BOV900BSSUSC) as a second oven for the house. It is quite large and expensive but from the limited amount of use it has seen, it is fantastic !

It will hold a 9x13 making pan or a 12" pizza or (they claim) a 14 lb turkey ! It appear to be very well built. I would not "build it into" a cabinet because you really need about 4" of air space on the sides and back and 6" on the top.

    Breville makes several smaller models.
  • We use a Black and Decker CTO6335S in the motorhome and at home. We chose it because it has a 2 hour time, and it will hold a 12" frozen pizza.
  • I have a LTV also bigger oven, kid bakes lots of stuff once you figure out how to use it ,its great. you,ll just love the LTV
