Cost of new windshield for 2003 Monaco Diplomat?

I had a water leak on the top edge of our windshield.
They sealed it without removal and it's good now.

If they had to remove the windshield they said it would most likely break. They told me it would be a $3400 repair for the one piece windshield.

I called numerous auto glass places and no one would touch it. I ended up calling a Freightliner dealer and they refereed me to a RV/Big truck glass guy.

In 2005, I twice lost my one piece windshield to flying debris. the replacement cost on both of them was in the neighborhood of $3,000.

I recently had a chip in my windshield fixed and I asked the tech how much a new windshield for my 2008 Camelot would cost. He stated they were just under $1200 and about $300 labor to R&R. This was in Bullhead City, AZ.

$1200 for 1 side of 2 piece or $2000 plus for a 1 piece windshield. Ballpark figure.

And remember it's your comprehensive deductible, not your collision deductible. Comprehensive deductible is often a lot less. And if you have Progressive and you haven't made a previous claim, you may have no deductible.

Replacing one side of a two piece windshield is approximately $1000 for the tinted type. Check with your insurance company if your deductible is less than the $1000.

If its a one piece model...could be as high as $1200.oo

No insurance??

Best thing to do is call an "auto" glass replacement place and get a quote then call several of the RV "junk yards" and ask about cost and transportation
