Damon Daybreak vrs Holiday Rambler Admiral

I drove the HR and liked it. I ma sure both would be an improvement over my 1995 Damon Ultrasport with 16 inch wheels.

Have you driven both? I would think the bigger chassis would ride better. I'm obviously biased (if you look at my signature line) but if I go shopping for a MH again, Holiday is near the top of my list.

The toilet in the closet would be a plus if the closet was a little bigger. I think it was sized for short people under 200 pounds and that aint me. I will figure out a way to make it work because the coach seems a lot nicer and seems like it will last longer.

Hands down the HR. The toilet in a closet is a plus for me.

The aluminum roof jumps out! Owned a HR travel trailer + loved it. Very well constructed. Usually great storage. Don't worry about small toilet...

Seems like you answered your own question. HR more 'Pros' then the Damon and less 'Cons' then the Damon.

Seems like your deal breaker is toilet/shower?

Look below the 'surface' at build quality. How long do you plan on keeping it? Typically HR builds a better unit.

The HR is in amazing condition. No water leaks. Nice paint and graphics. Although they are both in excellent condition the Damon did have a small leak that the dealer fixed.
