Latest update, switching camera inputs left to right to the camera controller makes no difference. The monitor only shows the view of the right camera. The Perimeter view camera controller made by Mito is discontinued. I did check and it is receiving left and right turn signals from the turn signal switch so I suspect the controller is bad? Bob
Is this in error? You stated originally it only showed LEFT and now you state it only shows RIGHT. You should be able to find all 3 camera cable wires behind the monitor. Some, all 3 cables are the same and some, the REAR is different connection. So, you can always swap the Left and Right Camera wires. IF BOTH do not display and only ONE displays you know that camera is bad. Now, IF the rear camera plug is different, you remove the rear camera and disconnect it at the rear hole and then plug it in at the dash plug in to verify its operation. - GPWayneExplorerI had that same problem and more. It would switch cameras at will. Voyager brand monitor. That happen two years ago. After running the heat pump I got the humidity down to under 60% and was surprised when the monitor started working as it should. I now have a dehumidifier set at 60-65% in the MH. That keeps everything in good shape.
The rest of the story.....On the final leg of last summer’s three month tour our Voyager monitor died. (Found that is very common for this model. Tube type monitor.) That model is no longer made. Well, I just finished installing a new Voyager LED replacement. Works just fine. I was lucky to find an adapter kit so I did not have to change cable plugs or cameras. Just plug and play. - accsysExplorerYou don't happen to have your left turn signal on do you? The Tiffins see the left camera with the left turn signal on, the right camera with the right turn signal on and the rear camera when no turn signal is on.
- rgatijnet1Explorer IIIHave you gone through the monitor "menu" to check to make sure that all of your cameras are activated and not "skipped?"
- EffyExplorer IISounds like the switch/trigger. Some models have the switch built in the monitor and some have a switch that is before the monitor inputs (3 into 1). Can you toggle the cams on your camera manually? Easiest, if yours has the separate trigger/switch is to replace it. Just find one with the same inputs. If it's internal to the monitor/head unit then that gets expensive, not much to do but bite the bullet and replace the entire monitor. Ask me how I know.
