Hookup is no harder than with a 3/4 inch hose
Only time I use the 3/4 inch with macerator is when I need to pump UP. or a very long distance.. NEVER if doing a straight dump.
I have a macerator. I choose to use the 3" hose whenever possible. I have had two unexpected clogs on the macerator. And blown the 20 amp fuse 5 times.
The 3" hose is not that big a deal. Nowhere near as bad pulling the handle on the black, and having the macerator stall!
