- ArchHoaglandExplorerCheck the sail switch.
When the blower comes on it moves the sail switch which then allows the furnace to ignite the LP.
The sail switch should be somewhere near the blower impellers. - pianotunaNomad IIIHi,
Stay in a Motel. Run the stove as a blue flame heater. Your situation is why I always carry enough plumbing antifreeze to winterize.
If you can't get some electric heat and you feel the stove is unsafe, get to an air hose and blow out the lines. Dump the fresh water. - othertonkaExplorerIs there a mobile RV repairman in the area? They are usually pretty good and can be a lot cheaper then a shop.
- trop-a-calExplorerEven if breakers look OK shut them off then back on one at a time. If you have a bad one it may need replacement as they do burn out inside. That shows by looking at the plastic encasement which requires taking breaker out. Otherwise check into starting heater with hand held long nosed lighter same time it is trying to ignite electrically. Of course low 12 volt battery will not allow igniter to start, but at initial switching it on, if propane lights it before valve closes you are all set.

There is lots you can do. Start by looking up your make and model of your furnace on the internet, then look at the service manual on the internet, and follow some pretty basic steps to determine what is wrong.
Many times it is just a loose wire, or a stuck switch, and the manuals help determine that.
point taken and getting manual now - msturtzExplorerHad this happen to me. It wasn't as cold but what I did is went out and purchased multiple electric heaters. You may have to run extension cords outside to get power if you have electric to get enough power. You should be able to get enough heat to keep the unit from freezing. BTW keep the heater's fan on so you can circulate the air.

Does it click when you turn it on at the thermostat? If not, might be a bad ignition board, bad thermostat or stuck sail switch. Had our rear furnace go out 3 months ago. The thermostat selector switch was kind of hit or miss, and it fell apart when I opened the case to check for a fuse, so changed it. Then after that didn't fix it, I changed the board. No problems since.
