- Dune_ChasersExplorerI have been considering buying a plan, I will check them out first!
- supercubExplorerThey are no longer offering the Allegiance Plan. The quote I got was for a warranty thru Protrek.......they said as good and less money then Allegiance. They quoted me $2900 for 4 years that covers basically the major components, it's not a so called bumper to bumper, but does cover high dollar items. They're considerably cheaper then Good Sams. I haven't decided yet. Plus I'm still looking any suggestions on other warranty companies?
Brian - RckyMtnViaExplorerAnother vote for Wholesale Warranties. Great advice and a good price.
- kalynzooExplorerHighly recommended. I purchased my current Allegiance Plan through them when the plan that was purchased with my MH expired and could not be renewed. (the company only wrote for new MHs). WholesaleWarranties.net was recommended by others on the net. They offered me an assortment of policies at different prices with different coverage levels and deductibles. When I did have a claim this summer I called them to make sure I was crossing all the "t"s. They acted like true agents, following my claim, checking back with me to be sure I was being contacted by the right people. I was thrilled by their level of service. I had the opportunity to meet with two of the principles of the company at the FMCA convention in Indio. I was impressed by their youthful enthusiasm. They have a website on Facebook, and the company is constantly sponsoring events including many charitable events. In short, I believe they are a company that can be trusted for their advice and the products they represent.
(I have no interest in the company and do not know any of the individuals other than our brief meeting at FMCA)
Happy Trails - Executive45Explorer IIIWe have the Allegiance plan through them. So far we are satisfied. The plan is not as good as the Prizm plan but that plan is only available through dealers when you buy the coach. I would have reupped that plan if available. WW has two plans available, at least that was for our rig. Allegiance and XtraRide. I contacted several dealers and RV repair shops to inquire which they preferred since I figured they are the ones that will/are dealing with these companies. Both plans were well received, meaning minimal inspections and payment on time. Both plans were about the same $$$ but XtraRide was 5yrs vs 4 for Allegiance. You want an "exclusionary" contract. That means, they list what is NOT covered. If it's not listed, it's covered. We opted for the Allegiance since they would allow an upgrade to remove the weasel clause from the contract. The weasel clause is something like "if a covered part fails because of a non covered part, the covered part is not covered." I'm sure an attorney wrote that! Anyway, AFAIK, Allegiance is the only plan available that allows you to remove that clause.
So far they've replaced my Norcold cooling unit with the Amish one, the motor and anemometer on my Girard awning, my keypad, a couple solenoids, a major plumbing repipe where a rigid pipe failed behind a cabinet and some misc wiring issues. I have a $50/ded so I use it when I need to...time permitting...otherwise I simply fix it myself....ask for Jeff Shelton at WW....Dennis - JimExplorerNone of the after sale warranties are worth what you pay for them, except for a few people. They are NOT in the business of paying out money, but rather making a profit. Choose the one you like the best, and put the money you would have paid for it in a separate bank account. Then add to it periodically, like monthly.
