An AFTER MARKET PRODUCT that was put out is called "Timesert".
The kit had the tools to repair it as best as you could being that it was a bad design to begin with!
With the Timesert Kit you installed the coil and then installed a pin on the edge to secure it.
Per Timesert instructions the kit was for Ford engines 4-6-8-10 cylinders from 1993 to 2003!
Talk about a flat learning curve!
The engines after that came out with a 2 piece spark plug that had a habit of breaking off when trying to remove from carbon build up.
