Gas or Diesel?? which is better

Whichever way you go, make sure you find a floor plan you're comfortable with since you'll be spending far more time living in the coach than driving it. They'll all get you from here to there, but you really need to like what you've got when you get there.

Either one will do it, you'll just enjoy it a lot more in a diesel.

Your budget may dictate which you go for as will length and weight. If you want 40 ft. coach with four slides, it will be a Diesel Pusher.

The longer the gas coach in addition to slides, your CCC (cargo carrying capacity) is eaten up.

A few more details on what you need/want will steer you better.

Like others have said, a gasser will cross every mountain and get you to your location.

That pretty well sums it up. We've did it with the older 454CID powered Class As, the newer V10 rigs and now with a DP. They all did the job-they just do it differently.

One of the bigger differences will be the build level that can be found on DPs. Look at both. Drive both. Find one that fits your lifestyle and budget.

I don't own a Class A rig, but I do drive diesels, and IMHO, you'll like the diesels much better than the gassers. There are reasons that most Class As are diesels, and among them are the far superior high altitude performance. Nothing beats a diesel at dragging a heavy load up a steep mountain to high altitudes.

Anything will work, but IMHO the Diesel is just head and shoulders better.

Budget wise it is considerably more $$$ but often a good used one is a Bargain.

Easier to drive - Smoother riding - more storage - better floor plans (Some) and yes better in the Mountains especially the Engine Brake for going down.

A gasser will be tough. The ride on a diesel compared to a gasser is like night and day. The diesel rides so much nicer. Traded our Tiffin gasser for a diesel. No matter how many mods you do to a gasser suspension it still rides like a moving truck. They will both get you up the mountain but the diesel will do it quieter with the engine in the back and not a gas engine in the front under your feet screaming at 4000 rpm.
