You may want to check with the gen-set manufacturer about their recommendation before using a gen-turi.
Generator manufacturers will say Do not do it. Guess they would rather you not wake up in the AM
I have seen two reasons for them doing that
1: They are worried about "Torque" from the weight of the Gen-Turi on the generator exhaust pipe cracking the manifold.. On my ONAN there is a very "Flexible" joint there and the pipe is supported at the edge of the RV so the generator bears NONE of the weight of the Gen-Turi. zero torque. And thus that excuse is vapor.
2: "That sweep Elbow will generate additional back pressure which may affect the operation of the Generator.
NOT so I've ever noticed, For one the Gen-turi pipe is usually LARGER (meaning less back pressure) and in some installs it's a lot straighter as well..
But, as with everything.. EVERY manufacturer will take any excuse to void your warranty..
Oh, you put a non standard wheel on the steering axle.. That's why your differential went bad....
You changed to LED tail lights, that's what fried your fuel pump
Ok so I'm joking ..... Slightly.. But they are darn near that bad.
