One of my favorite glues is GOOP, it comes in assorted flavors. You want one of the outdoor flavors (better UV resistance)
Polyurethane is one that shows promise here too.. In fact it is a close relative of what holds my windshield in place (professionally done)
The best use for Silicon adhesives is filling hooks in hardware stores/departments,, This product has no actual use far as I can see.
