Holiday Rambler 33CT and 35DK

Question

Back in January, the wife and I were looking at Class A motor homes at the Tampa RV show. I had been interested in looking at the Fleetword Bounder 33c. I looked at a Holiday Rambler 33CT and it is exactly the same floor plan. The only difference I really saw was the front cap. What I did notice is the Rambler was significantly cheaper (show prices) than the Bounder. On another forum, someone mentioned that HR was now owned by the same group that owns Fleetwood. I'm just curious why the HR model was so much cheaper than the Bounder at the show. Does anyone own a HR 33CT or the 35DK? These two models are pretty much the same layout except the 35DK has a 2nd bathroom and is built with a longer wheelbase (228 vs 208).

We have a 35DK that we bought at the Tampa show in January. Very happy with it. Have seen both the Bounder and the HR. Same floor plan. Same builder.

Thanks for the reply.  It also looks like the Holiday Rambler 35DK is the same as the Fleetwood Bounder 35K.

When I was at the Tampa RV show, the Holiday Rambler's were marked down 8-10K less (Show price) than the Bounder's with the same floor plans.  Maybe is was just because they were at different dealers?Burch
