I have upgraded to G rated tires on my motorhome and at max pressure it will carry 4575 lbs per tire {dual} at 110 psi, but when I weighted my motorhome my rear axel weight was 14,400 lbs, {fully loaded and tonged weight from trailer} so I run at 90 psi in rear tires but how do I know if I am using enough air pressure.
Is there a chart that says what weight at what pressure, 110 psi would be just to hard.
Also the tires have no minimum pressure on tires other than label inside motorhome that's says 80 psi but that was for the F rated tires from factory.
based on my calculations @90 lbs your good for 14976 lbs rear axle weight
ahuh after looking at tire charts it says 15060 lb@90 so my rough calculations to the dismay of ragnet I was almost spot on @14976
Timmac did u ever find out if u have the 145 axle or the 135?
Show me where I ever questioned your calculations? You have a very vivid imagination.:?
I posted the link for the chart because that is what the OP asked for in his original posting.
