How to clean roof (can't get on it) ??

I would be more concerned that the roof is getting re-sealed every 2 years or so. I did the 5er I owned for 15 years every year. If you can't get up there to do it CW will do it for a pretty decent price and they will clean it first.

I agree, Blue Beacon RV wash Their price for a 40'MH is $38.50 for the basic wash. The roof will be extra.

This is what I was going to suggest. When I was growing up, I'd wash cars/trucks/etc. for around $3.00 plus or minus. And, there were lots of kids like me that were willing to mow lawns, wash cars, do yard work of some sort, all kinds of stuff. But todays kids are "electronic gizmo" proned. None of them want to get out and EARN any money 'cause Mom and Dad will give it to them anytime they want it.

So, if there's none of the "workers" around in your neighborhood, I'd definitely look up some detailers in your area. If you've got any RV parks etc. in your area, some of those detailers may frequent the place and, you may get a chance to contact one of them. Good luck. And yes, it will pay off to get it done. There's always a form of oxidation of those roofs that's going cause a bit of streaking etc. so, a good washing every once in a while, will reduce that streaking.

You say you can get on a ladder and rinse the roof. How about using a brush on a pole and wash it from the edge. Start at the high end of the coach and do what you feel comfortable with and then some more the next day. Just keep working downhill.

I mix up a batch of water, soap, bleach spray it on let it stand for 5-10 minutes and hose it off. No brushing. Repeat if needed. I use a 2 gallons yard sprayer. I get on the roof, but could be done from ladder.

I purchased a 8 foot platform ladder from Graingers. Makes it safe for cleaning your roof.

Here is a better example. This one is in Keller Texas if you want to take a trip there to wash your rv!

This is kind of like what I'm talking about, but I can't find a better photo. I've seen them like this in regular car wash type bays that are oversize and have the catwalks down both sides.
