I can't figure out a beeping noise

A few hours ago, I had a tech in my motorhome when the beep went off. He immediately said it was the Battery Isolation Manager. The other tech agreed and so they replaced the BIM. So far so good. I haven't heard the beep.

Automatic Awning — wind detector on roof notifies controller inside to close awning - mine beeps for no reason at times so we usually have it disabled.

Original Poster here: After 10 months of use, I've noticed a couple of new clues. It only beeps when the sun is shining and I am plugged into shore power. I'm guessing that it could be a beep that alerts me that the solar controller has finished charging the batteries. Since I'm plugged in, the batteries actually do get fully charged and the solar controller beeps to alert me. This is just a guess.

I have a similar beep on my '04 Tradition, I happened to catch it once and it coincided with the low air light. Air pressure is fine and it happens sporadically.

I would find it very difficult to believe that your 2015 Newmar King Aire 4599 does NOT have a carbon monoxide detector which IS or SHOULD BE hard wired and does have a built in low voltage alarm(beep). The lowest of low end coaches all do.

And if you don't I sure would install one! :W

A CO detector may not be an RVIA requirement in an all electric coach. A propane detector of course, would be totally unnecessary.

Been there did that. Embarrassed to say it took me over a week to track it down.

Those 2 hard wired detectors will beep if there is even the slightest low voltage detected. It is a built in feature on these detectors for your safety.

I found two smoke detectors and checked both batteries. The smoke detectors emit a loud chirp when the batteries are low. I've checked the batteries and ruled out the smoke detectors.

I don't believe I've got any CO detectors.

Unfortunately, I don't have a remote for our dishwasher. I checked the manual and our model doesn't have one. BTW, does your dishwasher lock itself when you close the door? And is it hooked up to the inverter or the main power? We can't open our drawer unless we are plugged in or on generator. I can change that so the door doesn't lock, but then I'm afraid it might open when we are underway.

Hi Holstein, we have the same brand dishwasher (Fisher Paykel) in the new coach as we did in the old one. The difference is that the new one does not have the stainless steel front, it has the same wood as the cabinets. There are no controls or displays on the exterior, all are on the inside. Even though the old one had all the controls on the inside, it did have display on the outside so that you could see the remaining time left.

I don't really see the point of having a remote, it's very small, the size of a credit card. When I want to start the dishwasher, I just select the type of wash by toggling through the choices then hit start and close the door. The one thing I don't understand is that water will stand in the trough at the bottom of the dishwasher where there is a clip-in screen. Our other one did the same thing. Using the dishwasher often would make this a non-issue. If fact, I never knew water was in this area until I removed the screen (same as the old one).

Our dishwasher doesn't lock when it's off, it does have a soft lock as you have to pull the door open with a little tug. I'm not sure how it's wired as we have four 3,500 watt inverters (I'm still learning about our systems). I generally wouldn't think of running the dishwasher going down the road and 99.9% of the time we'll be connected to shore power when stopped for the night.

This is a very real possibility. I've been having problems with my TPMS. when the system is on, I lose all 6 rear tires within an hour of driving. I'm going to have Newmar replace the rear antenna in a few weeks. Hopefully, this fixes the problem.

I wouldn't think the system would work with everything turned off, but you may be right.
