Well it's time for my insurance to renew...I have had Blue Sky and they are increasing by $800+ due to the fact that they got an increase over the next few years and are giving it to me now (in spades!)..no claims...no accidents...I called Miller RV Insurance and have a quote..and I called Explorer RV and have something from them..but I want replacement value coverage which apparently Blue Sky has but can't get from anyone else...also Glass Coverage as Geico wants the full 1000 deductible on a windshield whereas the others are less...any help/input appreciated...I've been very happy with Blue Sky , but this excessive increase is not warranted...any guidance appreciated..Blue Sky told me that Colorado residents are going up 64 % next renewal...because they can..what a great way to lose customers..

State Farm? Been with them for over 40 years. May not be the cheapest, but outstanding service.Remember State Farm is customer owned others are for huge profit for their share holders.

Try these people. They provide full coverage on my coach as well as the personal belongings inside. Auto Owners Insurance

I had a $187 increase from Good Sam in Dec. I am waiting for my cars to renew. I have never had a ticket or accident or MH claim the only other claim for Hail, I think they figure they can screw us because of the 100 year flood that happened in 2013. They are all thieves they want your money but don't want to pay out. OK I will get off my soap box now.

I can't say enough good things about Nationwide. I've been with them on my vehicles and house for over 25 years now and have never had a problem with claims or with pricing. Most recently, dealing with damages to my coach from 2 separate blowouts, I am reminded why I am a happy Nationwide customer. They handled the claim quickly and to my satisfaction without argument or question. Can't get much better than that!

I have had Geico since 2008.I have glass coverage for the RV Windshield, et. al. with a $50 deductible only.My policy states the $1k comprehensive deductible with a rider of $50 glass deductible.Comprehensive$112.00$1,000 Ded/$50 Ded For GlassCarried Geico in 2 States, and the $50 windshield stayed the same for both states.Every renewal, I check at least 3 other companies. No One comes close to my GEICO coverage, Yet! Just added a new vehicle replacement, and my rates with GEICO actually went down.

My Blue Sky went up over $900 as yours did, half on Collision and half on Comprehensive. If there goal was to lose a customer, they succeeded. We will be moving to another company on April 28. We had them 2 years and no claims. Ours is registered in Wisconsin. Happy Trails Bert

X2 Good advice and probably the reason there are so many different recomendations here. I'm shopping now as well.

I have $1000.00 deductible, but lowered my comprehensive to $100.00 to cover windshield replacement. This isn't like the old days where you had an agent that was there to serve you. It's now a business to squeeze EVERY dollar out of your wallet. They won't show an allegiance to you, so I no longer show an allegiance to them....price goes up, I go shopping and look to see if there's a better deal.

My RV is insured with Progressive.... I don't like the company, however, their insurance coverage is good, prices reasonable, claims response excellent...Just called in a windshield chip claim... they guaranty work by Safelite, so they came to the bus, resin repaired the little chip, waived my deductible....the day after I called it in......

if you're not a fulltimer check with State Farm. I have full glass coverage as part of my comprehensive.

If you take the AARP safe driving course (8 hr. computer course), you will recieve a discount on your insurance. The fee is about $22 if you are not a member of AARP.

The certificate is good for 3 yrs. and you have 30 days to complete the course. You can stop and start at your leisure. I took about a week to complete the course reading and answering the questions a couple of hours a night. I enjoyed it.

I used the certificate for the motorhome and for my car insurance (two differnt companies).

If you're full timing, you're limited as there are only a few companies that insure us. That said, I've been with National Interstate for the past 6 years and have been more than satisfied with their service and claims. I had two windshields replaced this past year with zero deductible. The HHR was also totaled and they handled the claims efficiently. If you recall my earlier post relative to my front brakes and calipers, they paid for that too....give them a call @ 800-929-1500 and get a free quote...Dennis

The other thing I am concerned with is value on this...OK, so either I wish replacement cost or agreed upon value..The ACV actual cash value drops like a rock..and keeps falling..

They don't have the same system here in NC with GEICO...so it looks like they lose....
