Inside step cover
My inside step cover stop working, the motor runs but the step just slides in & out by hand.. Any ideas, it looks like a nut or a pin is missing

That happened to me. Found there was a nut that held female thread bracket in place on cover that worked loose and the bracket was able to spin freely. I threaded the bracket back to the end of the threaded rod then refastened it to the step cover and tightened the retaining nut. (Not the clearest of explanations but if you pull out the cover, lift it you will see the parts I mentioned)
