Inverter 3000 question

It's my understanding the AC output never drops with battery voltage.. it just quits.

I also have that inverter. There is a low voltage setting that shuts off the inverter when the battery voltage reaches or drops below that setting. The setting is also user adjustable if you have the advanced monitor panel.

you know I never thought of that.I know a lot about motor homes but honestly just never hardly used the inverters over the years

what would the factory setting most likely be? and whats a safe level(lowest one would go) with out worry of Battery damage

Some are set to around 10.5. I suppose if I had the tool I'd probably put that up to 11.5.

Mine is set to alarm at 11.5 and shut down at 11.0. I should note that I have the ProSine from Zantrex if that makes a difference.

mine says it can be between 10.5 and 12 so I think I will set mine at 11.8

But what iam also concerned about is say at 11.5 battery volts what kind of inverter voltage am I receiving?
Will it(inverter) still make 110V at 11.5 input?

I would not want my batteries to get below the 50% charge state point which is around 12.05VDC. The 11.8VDC is right at the 40% charge state. The 10.5VDC is considered a dead battery.

11.8VDC would be my 'absolute' minimum still using the batteries and only for rare occasions. Experience tells us the batteries do not do well when dropped below the 50% charge state point...

I normally switch mine off-circuit when they hit the 12.0VDC level or start my Charge actions then...

In my off-road ops we can do around 10-12 50% to 90% charge states before having to recharge the batteries to a full 100% charge state and not do noticeable harm to the batteries. After that the batteries start falling back on performance and will eventually do harm to the batteries unless I get them fully charged again real quick.

what I was trying to find out is will a inverter at say 11.5 volts still produce 110V needed to run a low amp draw fridge
Like at what battery voltage does the inverter voltage fall off or does it?
