leveling my class A
Being that I have a class A motorhome without any type of leveling/stabilizing system I would like to add something. Leveling of course can be done with blocks of wood but I want more than just that. When we have grandchildren with us, they are up front on the jack knife sofa and we are in the back in bed, when they move around,go to the bathroom or a little wrestling it moves the MH around more than I like. For some reason it is not very comfortable for me and I am usually not that picky about things like that. I do not have the funds for a automatic or even the hydraulic system. I had thought about using 4 electric boat trailer tongue jacks rated at 3500 pounds each but don't know if they would do the job with a loaded 34' rig. I have also been considering 4 scissor jacks, but reaching that far under to the frame to work them doesn't seem that simple either. What have some of you done or heard of others doing?
