Thanks all for response.
Anyone have tow bar model#, pictures and approximate costs of installation for a complete set up. I assume there are some electronics and braking systems/lights that must be included to get Jeep rigged to be a TOAD.
We purchased the Roadmaster Falcon 2 All-Terrain Tow Bar #522. We like that tow bar because you don't have to have the Jeep level with the Motor Home to attach the bar, it's got some play and is forgiving. It's a very sturdy towbar as well.
With that purchase we included the Falcon 2 Tow Bar accessory kit, which set us up for wiring.
Finally, we had the Roadmaster bracket kit #521424-5 installed on the front of our 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. We chose that kit because it does not hamper our approach angle to obstacles when we use the jeep for off-roading.
We have been very pleased with the entire set-up. Installation of the accessory kit and bracket cost $203.00.
We do also use a BrakeBuddy portable auxiliary braking system as well. - JerseydevilExplorer

We tow a 2006 Liberty Sport 4x4 as pictured in my signature. We experience chaffing on the outer edges of the front tires, caused from towing. It happens during sharp turning at low speed. The Liberty can't turn fast enough from sharp right to sharp left, and in the reverse order. We have stock wheels and tires. I would think a more aggressive setup would be worse yet.
Do you with Wranglers experience the same?
We towed our modified '97 TJ Wrangler over 100,000 miles, and our current modified '13 JK Unlimited (4 door) Wrangler over 30,000 miles and have not experienced chaffing. My towing setup has very little free play, and I tow with the Jeeps tire pressure at maximum. Our '97 was lifted 4" with 35" tires, and our '13 is lifted 3" with 37" tires.
Just our experience.
Real interested in your set up for your 97'. I have a 00' with same lift and tire size. - JerseydevilExplorerThanks all for response.

But sometimes it's hard to avoid doing so, especially in gas stations. I think someone had the right idea of maximizing tire pressure in the front tires so the cupping/chaffing is minimized. - Off_PavementExplorer II

Don't turn so sharp. the overhang behind the rear wheels of coach will swing out and pull the jeep into the corner then when you pull out of the corner the jeep is right angles to the coach and gets dragged sideways out of the turn.
Round the corner out so the jeep never gets 90 degrees to the coach. - crassterExplorer III see it all the time. Should be no problem at all as some others have said.

Do you with Wranglers experience the same? - tcguyExplorerWe tow a 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sahara TJ with 4" lift and 12.5 x 33 A/T tires behind our Jayco, Greyhawk 31 FK using a Roadmaster tow bar and a Brake Buddy braking system. Been doing this for thousands of miles without an issue. Recommend a back up camera for keeping an eye while towing since you really can't see it well while towing.
- SweetWaterSurprExplorerI tow a YJ but use an enclosed trailer.
