Light towable

Was in Camping World the other day and saw an ATV in the lobby and thought that would make a great tow vehicle for short store runs, wonder if anyone makes a street legal version.
  • If your real reason is just to minimize cost you might consider and older Jeep with a Ready Brake system. They are inexpensive to buy, reliable, and easy to modify for towing. The Ready Brake is also inexpensive and easy to install.

    Just a thought.
  • $20K wont work, people used to tow the old VW buggies. Thought it would be nice to not need brakes and keep costs down since we would use seldom.
  • They are street legal in some states like Utah and Arizona, but not in California. In California, they're only legal to cross a highway when traversing from one dirt road to another.
  • Saw one last summer at a car show that was street legal. Can't remember the name but when I looked it up they were $20,000. Think I'll stick with my HHR.
