Lighting problem - HELP

Question

2012 Coachmen Concord on a Chevy 4500 chassis. Yesterday, I hooked up the toad and as I was checking the lights, found the right rear Brake/Turn Signal was not working on the MH, or the toad. The front Turn Signal was working as usual as well as the dash indicator and clicker. This unit has 2 fuse boxes and by least 50 fuses. I pulled the ones listed for turn signals, etc. and all were good, both visual and by continuity check. Did not see any loose wires.

Anybody have any suggestions? Everything worked fine until a couple days ago. I drove over 400 miles yesterday, and have another 400 tomorrow. I'm in Lakeland, FL having Bigfoot levelers installed.

Bad ground is a good thought.  That or some damaged wires somewhere between the engine and rear.

If it is similar to the Kodiak (Chev 5500) there is a fuse for each side, right &amp; left. Also there is a secondary connector near the rear where the wiring harness for the 7 way plug connects.

Get a can of electrical contact cleaner, and spray both sides of the connectors, especially the female side to help remove any dirt and moisture that may have accumulated.  I had lots of intermittent problems with toad lights, doing this cured my problem.  I keep the can close, and use it often, have not had any more problems.  Cheap fix.

Thanks to those that answered. I already had an appt with the dealer for some other work, so I had them check this. It was a fuse as I had suspected. Not any that are listed in the owner's manual as protecting the rear lights, but some general fuse under the hood that is apparently used to protect the rear lights on the cutaway van until the builder gets it. So much for the owner's manual. Looks like Chevy's Owner's Manual for my unit is generic for all Express vans, and not necessarily specific to the cutaway chassis. Anyway, problem solved - only cost about $100.
